We were very honored to have Jamaican guitarist, singer, and songwriter Andrae Carter in the place on Shanty Town. Learning the guitar in his teens, he eventually got the opportunity to play live and tour with some huge reggae acts (Damian Marley, Romain Virgo, Jah Cure, Duane Stephenson just to name a few). He eventually began to work on his own songwriting and production with House of Carter, (his album Music My Mission soon come). We got a taste of some of his original tunes as he told us about the musical journey in his young life thusfar. His music is full of joy and positivity and posesses a wisdom usually held by artists twice his age. Forward, Andrae Carter!
