In this episode, we welcome back Maddie Ruthless, the Rocksteady Queen of New Orleans, alongside Matt Burdi on drums. Together they make up 1/2 of The Far East, one of the best Brooklyn-based reggae outfits around. They niced up the place with a lovely acoustic set of some originals (including their David Rodigan-approved smash hit single "Youthman"), some covers and some witty, red wine-inspired banter. Check them out on soundcloud (http://soundcloud.com/teafactorysounds/youthman) and link them pon di facebook (http://www.facebook.com/thefareast) especially if you want info on the Reggae Prom this New Years Eve, where they will be performing alongside The Frightnrs, featuring selections from Grace of Spades and JonnyGoFigure.
