It seems like more than a mere coincidence that these two legends were born in the same week (Bob Marley born Feb 6, 1945 and Dennis Brown Feb 1, 1957). Achieving stardom at home and abroad, these two were more than just singers and songwriters, they were ambassadors of Jamaica and reggae culture, spreading peace and livity in their music right 'til the end. It is an honor to pay tribute to these two every year in February here on Shanty Town, digging for their records and sharing them with anyone who will listen. This year I was fortunate enough to have Azad with me, his second time on the show, always repping OneWise Sound to the fullest.
